Eagles coordinator Reich says QB order not set

PHILADELPHIA — Maybe the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback situation isn’t as set as head coach Doug Pederson has made it out to be.
After the Eagles drafted Carson Wentz with the No. 2 overall pick and resolved incumbent Sam Bradford’s two-week holdout, Pederson said Bradford would be the Eagles’ starting quarterback in 2016. Chase Daniel is No. 2 on the depth chart, Pederson said.
But both of Pederson’s coordinators made public comments this week that raise questions about the state of things.

In an appearance on WIP-94.1 FM Wednesday, offensive coordinator Frank Reich said the perception that the order is set is “probably not the right impression.”
“I’ve been around this business a long time as a player and as a coach,” Reich said, “and one of the things I’ve really come to appreciate is it’s not a contradiction to say you’ve got to have order. Because if you don’t have order, it’s chaos. So if you’re the head coach, you’ve got to come in and you’ve got to establish order. There has to be organization, there has to be order.
