Big Events and More Than Just Hold’em at the Golden Nugget This Summer

At the end of last week, we told you about one of the most happening events to come this summer — Poker Night in America’s $1,675 event at the Golden Nugget running June 3-7. While that’s certainly one of the can’t-miss events of the summer, there’s plenty more on the schedule for The Grand Poker Series, too.
Of the 90-plus events on the schedule for the Grand Poker Series, nearly one-fifth of them are in formats other than no-limit hold’em. Here inside the PokerNews offices, that’s something we can certainly applaud. Some of the different variants of poker include Omaha hi-low, pot-limit Omaha, razz, seven-card stud, 2-7 triple draw, and H.O.R.S.E. If you’re looking to get away from the no-limit hold’em grind, or if you’re looking to expand your poker repertoire without having to break the bank, the Nugget will be the spot.
