Olympic high jump champion Anna Chicherova among positive Beijing tests, Russian media reports

Russia’s reigning Olympic high jump champion Anna Chicherova is reportedly among 14 Russian athletes said to have tested positive after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced 31 people from Beijing 2008 had failed retrospective tests.
The Russian news agency TASS reported that 14 of the 31 athletes who have tested positive are believed to be Russian – the majority coming from its athletics team – after the IOC reanalysed 454 samples from Beijing
