Ramirez busts out with 2 HRs in doubleheader

CHICAGO — Jose Ramirez came into his eighth-inning at-bat in the front end of Monday’s doubleheader against the White Sox with only three hits in his past 20 at-bats.

Although the Indians lost, 7-6, Ramirez worked righty reliever Matt Albers for 10 pitches, fouling off three consecutive sinkers before getting one over the plate and sending it into the stands to put his team within striking distance.
