Here’s a look at top prospects to watch in today’s Minor League action:

Hitter to watch: Cody Bellinger (Dodgers’ No. 5)

A hip injury sidelined Bellinger for most of the season’s first month, and he went just 4-for-37 with zero extra-base hits in his first 11 games after finally making his 2016 debut on April 30. Since then, however, the No. 96 overall prospect is hitting .375 (15-for-40) with four home runs, three doubles and 11 RBIs over his last 11 games for Double-A Tulsa. On Sunday, the 20-year-old first baseman/outfielder powered the Drillers to a 6-4 win over Northwest Arkansas with his go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the 11th inning. He’ll look to stay hot today when Tulsa takes on the Naturals once again in a game that can be seen on MiLB.TV at 12:05 p.m. ET.

Pitcher to watch: Luis Ortiz (Rangers’ No. 4)

Ortiz, No. 69 overall on the Top 100, was outstanding during his short time with Class A Advanced High Desert this season, posting a 2.60 ERA, a 1.05 WHIP and a 28-to-6 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 27 2/3 innings across seven outings (six starts). The Rangers liked what they saw from the 20-year-old enough to challenge him with a promotion to Double-A Frisco, for whom he’ll make his debut at home against San Antonio on MiLB.TV at 12:05 p.m. ET.

Duel of the day:
