Zimbabwe and Cameroon played out a barren draw in their Second Round first leg clash on Sunday in Harare.

The match started at a slow pace with both teams playing cautiously to avoid conceding and in the end they failed to utilise their few chances.

Zimbabwe could have scored as early as in the sixth minute through Thomas Kadyaridzire whose effort from a free kick went over the bar.

Prince Dube and Kadyaridzire were left to rue a tale of missed chances as they took turns to miss the chances that came the Young Warriors’ way.

The notable misses were in the 13th and 25th minute when they missed one-on-one chances that could have sealed a victory for the homers.

In the second half, Cameroon came a better side dominating and camping in the Young Warriors half.
