Rwanda succumb to Egypt in Kigali

Rwanda succumbed to a lone goal defeat at home to Egypt in their Second Round first leg clash on Sunday in Kigali.

 

A goal from Taher Mohamed Ahmed five minutes after the break made the difference to give the Egyptians an advantage ahead of the second leg in three weeks in Cairo.

 

The Junior Wasps who were missing injured first choice striker Blaise Itangishaka and defender Aman Niyonkuru due to suspension managed to hold the visitors but struggled to find the back of net.
