Duda has tests on back as Mets await diagnosis

NEW YORK — Mets first baseman Lucas Duda underwent testing on his lower back Sunday morning. The Mets received the results of those tests later in the day, but are waiting for a second opinion from team orthopedist Dr. David Altchek before releasing them publicly.
In the interim, manager Terry Collins and multiple players said they are bracing for an extended absence.
