David Ortiz, Red Sox make Tribe’s Danny Salazar their next victim at Fenway

BOSTON — Cleveland Indians right-hander Danny Salazar entered Sunday’s start against the Boston Red Sox at or near the top of many statistical leaderboards, including opponents’ batting average (.157). But after giving up four runs on eight hits, he was done after a season-low 4 1/3 innings, as the Red Sox coasted to the 5-2 victory.

David Ortiz homered and doubled twice and Jackie Bradley Jr. extended his hitting streak to 27 games in what turned out to be a banner day for fans at Fenway Park, who are getting used to this sort of thing in 2016.
