U.S. downed by Russia in bronze medal game at World Championship

Artemi Panarin (Chicago Blackhawks) and Pavel Datsyuk (Detroit Red Wings) each had three points for Russia, which captured the bronze medal with a 7-2 win over the United States at the IIHF World Championship in Moscow on Sunday.
Panarin had a goal and two assists, while Datsyuk registered three helpers. Sergey Kalinin had one assist for Russia, which medaled for the ninth time in the last 12 world championships.
