Liverpool Transfer News: Latest on Danny Drinkwater and Ben Chilwell Rumours

Liverpool have reportedly lined up a double raid on Leicester City this summer after midfield marvel Danny Drinkwater emerged as a priority target alongside defender Ben Chilwell.
The Mirror’s Steve Bates reported Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was impressed with Drinkwater’s performances en route to seeing Leicester lift the Premier League title and wants to sign the anchor.
The Foxes are said to value the 26-year-old at £14 million, but Bates went on to say Foxes chief Claudio Ranieri “will resist any attempts to entice away his key players” after this season’s fairytale title triumph.
One of Drinkwater’s former Manchester United coaches, Rene Meulensteen, has joined the line of those praising the midfielder, and he told 888sport his old club should re-sign the player (h/t Goal’s Chris Davie):
