Junior Scorpions sting Moroccan Lions

Striker Pa Omar Jobe’s 42nd minute header secured Gambia’s Young Scorpions a 1-0 win against Morocco U-20 AFCON Zambia 2017 on Saturday in Banjul.
The host started the Second Round first leg clash the better side controlling the tempo of the game with brilliant movements in midfield pushing the Moroccans to defend.
It was Morocco who could have soared to an early lead when Ebrima Sidibeh’s misplaced pass went to striker Fadiz Othman, who shot at the side net.
The Young Scorpions went close to breaking the deadlock on several occasions with Bun Sanneh, Ebrima Jobe, Hamidou Bojang and Mbye Faye all failing covert chances at goal.
