LeBron James Passes Jason Kidd on NBA’s All-Time Postseason Assist List

Cleveland Cavaliers star forward LeBron James passed Jason Kidd for third place on the NBA’s all-time postseason assists list with 1,264, via Sportscenter, during Saturday night’s Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Toronto Raptors:

In 11 trips to the playoffs, James had averaged 6.7 helpers per game entering Saturday night, where he needed just three to move past Kidd. He finished the night with five, moving him to 1,266 total.
James moved past Kidd in the third quarter, assisting on J.R. Smith’s three-pointer that cut the Cavaliers’ deficit to nine.
