Haye floors Gjergjaj inside two rounds

David Haye once again enjoyed an early night on the comeback trail after destroying Arnold Gjergjaj in two rounds on Saturday.
It was Haye’s second victory since ending three years out of action due to injuries and postponements as the Londoner builds momentum towards a world title shot next year.
And the Hayemaker is still an exciting fighter, with his speed and power too much for his Switzerland-based Kosovo-Albanian opponent at the O2 Arena in London.
After only 40 seconds, Haye (28-2, 26 KOs) had floored his overmatched opponent, who suffered his first professional defeat, with a big right for a count.
Gjergjaj (29-1, 21 KOs), 31, was decked again at the end of the first, although no count was given, and the end looked inevitable.
Gjergjaj was even floored by a jab early in the second round before he was returned to the canvas by a combination later in the second round.
It was all over after one minute 35 seconds of the second round and Haye, 35, was talking about fighting Shannon Briggs in September and then Anthony Joshua next year.
