Lucas Duda (back) scratched, has MRI; status uncertain

New York Mets first baseman Lucas Duda was scratched from the starting lineup Saturday as he continues to deal with issues in his lower back. How long he’ll be out remains to be seen.
Duda had an MRI and was examined by a doctor Saturday. He was told to take a few days to rest and has further tests scheduled to determine if a disabled-list stint is warranted. He had received an anti-inflammatory injection earlier in the week.
“It’s too early to tell,” said Mets manager Terry Collins, regarding how long Duda would be out.
