Lowes back on top in Mugello

Hard work continues in the intermediate class as good data is gathered ahead of Qualifying with Lowes fastest from Zarco and Nakagami.
Temperatures continued to creep up as the sun beat down on the Mugello circuit, Moto2™ World Championship riders filtering out onto track for Free Practice 3. Sam Lowes (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) immediately started pushing and put in a sequence of 1’52s. The Brit’s early run would see him go unchallenged for the entirety of the session, his 1’52.382 just edging out his rivals.
A late lap from Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport) saw the Frenchman end the session in second, 0.059s back on Lowes. He’s showing none …
