Choo looks to spark Rangers in return from DL

HOUSTON — The Rangers activated right fielder Shin-Soo Choo off the disabled list on Friday, one day after optioning left-handed reliever Andrew Faulkner to Triple-A Round Rock.
Choo has been out since early April with a strained right calf, but he was in the leadoff spot for Friday night’s game against the Astros at Minute Maid Park.
