Italians having watched its 1500m and 400m champions, respectively Gregorio Paltrinieri and Gabriel Detti, battle to another 1-2 over 800m, they went a little wild on the cheering and flag waving when Luca Dotto made sure that the 200m was the only freestyle crown among men they didn’t win here at the London Aquatics Centre.
