Liverpool, Sevilla Charged by UEFA for Crowd Disturbances in Europa League Final

UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla and beaten finalists Liverpool have been charged by European football’s governing body for “crowd disturbances” prior to the tournament’s showpiece game in Basel, per BBC Sport.
Incidents took place before kick-off in a section of Basel’s St Jakob-Park Stadium, “after some Liverpool fans obtained tickets in the non-segregated Sevilla end,” per the BBC report.
Both clubs are facing separate charges, and the report said Liverpool will face punishment for fans “setting off of fireworks.”
