Delhi Daredevils continued their trend of tinkering with their XI. They made three changes to the line-up that lost to Rising Pune Supergiants as Zaheer Khan elected to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their penultimate ‘home’ fixture at the Shaheed Veer Narayanan Singh Stadium in Raipur.
Daredevils left out pacer Mohammed Shami for offspinner Jayant Yadav to counter Surisers’ batting line-up that has four left-handers in the top five. The injured Chris Morris, their second-highest wicket-taker, and Shreyas Iyer also made way for Carlos Brathwaite and Pawan Negi.
