Ashley Dai/Chloe Ouellet-Pizer leveled the things up with a 6-3 triumph against Julia Elbaba/Erica Susi on court 3, leaving the decision to be made on the main court. Danielle Collins/Meghan Kelley delivered the opening point for the Cavaliers, finishing strong to beat 2nd-best pair in the country, Hayley Carter/Whitney Kay, by 6-4.
