Top-seed Louisa Chirico defeated Andrea Hlvackova in the second round of the women’s qualifiers to reach the third and final qualifying round. The American needed three sets to defeat the resilient Czech Republican. She now awaits the winner between Swiss Amra Sadikovic and Russian Irina Khromacheva in the next round.
