Final All-Star Ride for Stewart

Tony Stewart will make his last Sprint All-Star Race appearance Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
For the 18th time, Stewart will take part in the annual exhibition race held under the lights at the 1.5-mile oval. He’s won it once, in 2009, and would like nothing better than to end his illustrious tenure as a Sprint Cup Series driver with another trip to Victory Lane.
“The best part was that it was the first chance Gene (Haas, co-owner) had gotten to come and watch the team run,” Stewart remembered. “That was a cool welcome-back party for him. That made it a huge night for the organization, to have everybody there and not feel like somebody got left out.”
