The 33 year old Daniela Hantuchova has spent most of her career in the upper echelon of tennis as she was a key figure in the upper ranks. For the past 15 years, the Slovak native had been inside the top 100 and 13 of those had been in the top 35. From being one of the highest ranked players from her country, Hantuchova is now ranked 172nd in the world and is having to come through qualifying if she wants to play at the French Open.
