2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Championship: Cowboys blanks Razorbacks to reach the last 16 for the first time since 2008

The battle between 16th and 19th best teams in the States didn’t give the expected fight in the second round of 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Championship, as Oklahoma State Cowboys defeated Arkansas Razorbacks 4-0 at Greenwood Tennis Center. Thus, the Cowboys will play in the Round 16 for the 10th time in their history, and for the first time since 2008! The doubles action was close and Oklahoma State won both that and 3 quick singles matches, which was important because Arkansas was regrouped and dangerous in the other encounters. Tristan Meraut/Lukas Finzelberg get the things underway for the Cowboys with a 6-4 victory over Jose Salazar/Johan den Toom on court 3. They were 4-2 down but made a great respond with 4 games in a row. On the main court, Mike Redlicki/Gimmarco Micolani were break down to Arjun Kadhe/Julian Cash but they’ve managed to come back and win the match 6-4, …
