Baseball has become a game of rinse and repeat for Los Angeles Dodgers’ ace Clayton Kershaw.

Kershaw struck out 11 in eight innings in a win over the Angels on Tuesday night. It was his sixth straight game with at least 10 strikeouts. According to Elias Sports Bureau research, he’s the fifth different pitcher in the modern era to have a streak that long, along with Nolan Ryan, Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson and Chris Sale. Sale and Martinez share the record for the longest such streak (eight straight).
This was Kershaw’s 17th career start with at least 10 strikeouts and no walks. No other active pitcher has more than 11 such starts.
