Here’s a look at top prospects to watch Wednesday in Minor League action:
Hitter to watch: Andrew Benintendi (Red Sox’s No. 3) After an 0-for-4 Double-A debut, Benintendi notched his first two hits with the Portland Sea Dogs on Tuesday, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Reed, the D-backs’ second-round selection in the 2014 Draft, is 3-1 with a 0.78 ERA through his first four starts this year. Reed has struck out 36 in 23 innings and has yet to give up more than one earned run in any starts. The D-backs’ prospect will look to continue his strong start against Peoria at 12:00 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV.
