Michael Bennett Comments on Contract, Sam Bradford, Playing for Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is set to make $10 million over the final two years of his four-year, $28.5 million deal he signed back in 2014, via Spotrac.
He’s not happy with how much he’s making, though, as he spoke with the Brock and Salk show on 710 ESPN Seattle on Tuesday, via ESPN.com’s Sheil Kapadia:
Any American wants to get paid more at their job. I don’t think there’s anybody that goes to work and says: ‘Hey, I’m happy with how much I’m getting paid, and I love it. Don’t give me any more money.’ So that’s how I feel too.
Unlike his teammate, safety Kam Chancellor, who had a contract holdout that went on through the second week of the 2015 regular season, Bennett isn’t making any threats: “Why wouldn’t I be at training camp? Of course I’ll be there. I’ll see you there for sure.”
