Adrian out with stiff lower back; DL a possibility

LOS ANGELES — Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez was left out of Tuesday night’s starting lineup after exiting Monday night’s game with lower back tightness, but manager Dave Roberts said he could be available to pinch-hit.
The injury came up when the first baseman reported to Roberts that his back had stiffened up after an at-bat in the fifth inning of the Freeway Series opener against the Angels, leading him to be promptly pulled from the game as a precautionary move.
With Gonzalez out on Tuesday, Howie Kendrick got his second start of the year at first base and could see another if Gonzalez doesn’t heal in time for Wednesday’s game at Angel …
