Giro: Neo-pro Ciccone wins stage 10, Jungels in pink

Italian Giulio Ciccone claimed the first pro win of his young career, climbing alone out of the breakaway in the Giro d’Italia’s stage 10 to win in Sestola, Italy on Tuesday.
“I couldn’t have done it without some stupendous support from my teammates, and I couldn’t imagine winning in my first Giro d’Italia,” Ciccone said.
While the 21-year-old Bardiani – CSF rider won the day, Etixx – Quick-Step’s Gianluca Brambilla handed off the leader’s pink jersey to teammate Bob Jungels, 23, after 219 kilometers of racing.
