2016 DRIVER RATINGS
He didn’t have the best day at Dover, but Kyle Busch remains on top of this week’s Power Rankings.
1. Kyle Busch: He was strong in brief flashes Sunday but in the end, it didn’t matter as Busch was one of the many victims of the rough-and-tumble afternoon.
Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 109.1Points Standing: 2ndPrevious Ranking: 1st
2. Chase Elliott: The rookie took another step forward in his Sprint Cup Series maturation process by running in the lead pack and putting on a clinic of car control, particularly in a battle with Kyle Larson for second place in the late going.
Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 86.8Points Standing: 7thPrevious Ranking: 4th
3. Kurt Busch: Still winless, but Busch remains high on the list of drivers that have been impressive in the opening 12 races of the season. It seems Busch is in the top five weekly and was there again Sunday in Dover.
