Trayce Thompson’s power not enough for Dodgers

LOS ANGELES — Trayce Thompson flashed the power for the Los Angeles Dodgers, while the Los Angeles Angels were able to hit in the clutch.
A combined five RBIs from Mike Trout and Albert Pujols, with each collecting a bases-loaded single, gave the Angels just enough offense to forge a 7-6 victory in the Freeway Series opener. The series will continue Tuesday at Dodger Stadium and move to Angel Stadium on Wednesday and Thursday.
