NEW YORK — Daniel Murphy will play at Citi Field on Tuesday as a visitor for the first time, as the New York Mets and Washington Nationals kick off their National League East showdown. And Mets manager Terry Collins is not surprised that Murphy arrives back in Queens leading the majors with a .400 batting average.
