Murat Gassiev and Jordan Shimmell both tipped the beam under the cruiserweight limit on Monday afternoon, making their Premier Boxing Champions main event official. The unbeaten Russian Gassiev (22-0, 1 NC, 16 KOs) checked in at 199.2 pounds, while Shimmell (20-1, 16 KOs) came in at a lean 196 pounds even. The cruiserweight contest headlines the latest PBC effort on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Deportes (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT) and emanates from the Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, Minn.
