Mark Sanchez Injury: Updates on Broncos QB’s Recovery from Thumb Surgery

Denver Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez underwent surgery on his left thumb Saturday and is expected to miss part of the upcoming OTAs, the team announced.
Sanchez suffered the injury during weight training last week. He suffered a torn ligament in his (non-throwing) thumb and will not be on the field when the Broncos open their offseason program next week.
Trevor Siemian and first-round pick Paxton Lynch will handle the quarterback duties.
