Leicester City Parade 2016: Twitter Reaction, Photos, Videos, GIFs and More

Leicester City celebrated their incredible Premier League title win on Monday—their only top-flight title in the club’s 132-year history—with an open-top bus tour as thousands turned out to watch their unlikely heroes.

The Foxes secured the title on May 2 when Tottenham Hotspur failed to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and they lifted the trophy the following Saturday at home to Everton, completing one of the greatest underdog stories in the history of football, if not sport as a whole.  

With the season having finished on Sunday, it was finally time for the club to parade a trophy they were 5000-1 to win at the start of the campaign.

The Daily Mirror’s Martin Fricker was there to witness the scenes:

The bus tour set off from Jubilee Square at 6 p.m. BST and ended at Victoria Park, where the players took to the stage in front of the crowd.
