Chelsea, Tottenham Fined by FA: Latest Comments, Reaction

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been hit with fines by the FA for failing to control their players in their tempestuous clash at Stamford Bridge on May 2.

The match involved a number of controversial incidents including two mass brawls involving many of the players and members of the coaching staff, as Spurs saw their title challenge collapse to hand Leicester City the Premier League title.

Referee Mark Clattenburg produced 12 yellow cards during the fiery game, with nine for Tottenham—who have subsequently seen midfielder Mousa Dembele receive a retrospective six-game ban for gouging Diego Costa in the eye.
