NBA Lottery 2016: Date, Time, TV Schedule, Livestream and More
- Updated: May 16, 2016
It’s not overly dramatic to say the 2016 NBA draft lottery could greatly affect the future of the league.
While there are no sure things when it comes to the draft, Ben Simmons of LSU and Brandon Ingram of Duke seem to be the clear top two picks in this class and will almost certainly be taken No. 1 and No. 2 overall in some order. The question is which teams will be able to land these talented players.
The Philadelphia 76ers had the worst record in the league and in turn have the highest odds, but that doesn’t always lead to getting the No. 1 pick. While the Minnesota Timberwolves were able to keep their pick last year, it was the first time since 2004 the team with the worst record ended up selecting first overall.
The luck of the draw could send a wide variety of teams into the top three and create a different look in the NBA based on who they are able to select. This means no matter which team you are a fan of, you don’t want to miss such an impactful event.

This would represent quite an addition for a team that already tied for the third-best record in the Eastern Conference.
On the other hand, CBS Sports Radio hosts James Stewart and Adam Kaufman both believe the Celtics could turn around and trade …
