Season review
Norwich’s return to the Premier League started with a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Carrow Road, but they hit back with early wins over Sunderland and Bournemouth. Just two defeats from their opening seven games suggested the Canaries had enough about them to compete in the top flight, but their form soon dipped.
A run of only one win from nine games between October and December left them in the relegation zone, although they did respond by producing the highlight of their season as they won 2-1 against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
