Roger Federer: ‘I want to Win Wimbledon. Nadal? I’m a big fan of him’

Roger Federer had quite an interesting interview with Noz.de where he spoke about a variety of topics, including his participation in Wimbledon and the Olympics.

According to Federer, it’s not easy to choose between winning a Major and the Olympics. ‘It’s so difficult to reply. Absolutely Grand Slams are a priority for us, that’s obvious. Olympics are different. If you lose, the disappointment is much since you play it every four years. We are not used to the Olympics, we are used to saying, ‘Wimbledon went bad, we try again next year.’  Why is the Olympics so important for me? I watched it a lot, I was impressed by basketball: Michael Jordan, Shaquelle O’Neal, and also the Olympic gold medal of Marc Rosset. There is my experience too. I played at Sydney when I was a boy and I reached the semi-finals. Then I lost twice, it was so sad. I needed to win a medal, it was almost like if there was an emptiness in me .
