Aberdeen thumped, Hearts draw

Aberdeen’s season ended on a low note as they suffered a third successive Scottish Premiership defeat with Ross County easing to a 4-0 victory at Pittodrie.
The visitors had failed to win their previous four post-split fixtures but goals from Brian Graham, Alex Schalk, Liam Boyce and Martin Woods sent the 262 Staggies fans in the crowd of 10,003 home happy.
A lively start saw Dons ‘keeper Arron Lennox save from Woods before Scott Fox denied Scott Wright at the other end.
Graham broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute after Lennox had brought down Schalk in the area.
Schalk made it 2-0 just before the break with a neat right-foot finish from Graham’s knock-down.
Lennox had to be quick off his line to foil Schalk after the restart and Graham fired wide from 25 yards as County continued to press, although Fox made a brilliant save to keep out Willo Flood’s header as Aberdeen tried to get back into …
