Saturday’s results in Challenger Tour: Khachanov wins his second title, Fratangelo reach Bordeaux final

Challenger legend Yen-Hsun Lu is coming back from an injury and surgery, and will try to recover his ranking position as soon as possible. In his first event in 2016, Lu advances to yet another Challenger final, his 37th in career! In the battle of 5th and 8th seeds, he manages to prevail over Lukas Lacko, beating the Slovakian 7-6 5-7 6-3 in 2 hours and 11 minutes. A player from Taipei used his first serve better but Lacko was more consistent on the second serve which guaranteed the nice battle. In the first set, they’ve made back-to-back breaks in games 7 and 8 to reach a tie break and Lu was more focused in the end to grab the opener. In the second set served let down the both, with 5 breaks of serve in total. Lacko was in the better rhythm, building a 5-2 lead with 2 convincing breaks but Lu came back with his own break in game 9 to prolong the set. His efforts were in vain in the end, as …
