Howard prepares to say goodbye

Tim Howard is preparing for an emotional goodbye at Goodison Park in what will be his final appearance in an Everton shirt.
The curtain comes down on the 37-year-old’s 10-year career with the Toffees on Sunday, where he has made 413 appearances, as he heads back to the United States to play for Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer.
The USA international initially joined the Toffees on loan from Manchester United in 2006, with the move becoming permanent the following year.
Howard looks set to be involved as Everton conclude their season against Norwich and in a message posted on his Twitter account the American has paid homage to the club.
He said: “I remember the promise that David Moyes made to me 10 years ago: “Once you walk through those doors, you’ll fall in love.”
