Quality starts becoming the norm for Lewis

ARLINGTON — Colby Lewis has pitched six or seven innings in each of his eight starts this season, including Saturday night’s workmanlike no-decision against the Blue Jays in the Rangers’ eventual 6-5 win.
Lewis allowed two runs on four hits, struck out six and didn’t walk anybody — pretty much another day at the office the way things are going for Lewis, who, over the past four starts, has thrown seven innings each time. In those 28 innings, he’s walked only two hitters and held opponents to a .187 average.
