Padres’ Myers leaves game with calf cramp

MILWAUKEE — Padres first baseman Wil Myers left Saturday’s game against the Brewers in the top of the ninth with a left calf cramp in a game eventually won by San Diego, 8-7, in 12 innings.
Myers was injured running to first base on a ground ball to shortstop. It appeared to be a routine double-play ball, but Jonathan Villar bobbled the ball and only recorded one out on the play.
“Running down the line, I felt it catch just a little bit, nothing crazy,” Myers said. “In that situation right there, I have to be able to score on a base hit or a double in the gap. With the way it was feeling, we decided it might not be the best for me to …
