‘Minotauro’ Nogueira to be Enshrined in UFC Hall of Fame

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship interim and Pride Fighting Championships heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Sunday, July 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The news was revealed in an announcement during Saturday’s UFC 198 pay-per-view in Curitiba, Brazil. Nogueira, 34-10 (5-6 UFC), will go down in history as one of the best Brazilian jiu-jitsu heavyweights to compete in mixed martial arts from his era, and was the anchor of Pride’s early heavyweight MMA dominance before the arrival of Fedor Emelianenko.
