DENVER — A big early rally enabled the Rockies to build a six-run lead in the third and carried them to a 7-4 win over the Mets on Saturday night at Coors Field.

The Rockies sent 10 batters to the plate in the third, scored five runs to build a 7-1 lead and chased Mets starter Logan Verrett. Tony Wolters had a two-run double, and Charlie Blackmon singled home two runs in an inning that also included a bases-loaded walk to DJ LeMahieu.
