United States men’s national soccer team striker Jozy Altidore suffered a hamstring injury during Saturday night’s MLS match between Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps, according to TSN’s Kristian Jack (via SBISoccer.com’s Ives Galarcep).

Altidore’s U.S. Summer Stint In Doubt Saturday, May 14
While the team has not disclosed a timetable for a possible return, Galarcep noted Altidore’s ability to play in this summer’s Copa America, which will start June 3, could be in doubt.
The injury occurred in the first half, when Altidore went down in the box, drawing a penalty. He missed the ensuing chance from the spot and exited the match after that, per Galarcep.
