Twins to ‘stay positive’ after much-needed win

CLEVELAND — After an eight-game losing streak that dated back to May 2, the Twins finally found themselves in the win column on Saturday against the Indians.
Twins manager Paul Molitor couldn’t help but admit that he breathed a sigh of relief after watching his team snap the skid with a 6-3 victory at Progressive Field. It was just their third road win of the season, ending a streak of six straight road losses. Coincidentally, their two wins in May have come on the road against Astros ace Dallas Keuchel on May 2, and against Indians ace Corey Kluber on Saturday, the last two winners of the American League Cy Young Award.
“It’s just good to win,” Molitor said. “It seems like it’s been a long time. We got a lot of good efforts from people today. I feel a little relieved.
