Maybin expected to join Tigers on homestand

BALTIMORE — Detroit center fielder Cameron Maybin has not had any setbacks with his broken wrist or sore shoulder, opening the door for him to rejoin the Tigers at some point during their nine-game homestand that begins Monday against the Twins.
Maybin has yet to appear in a game for Detroit this season. The center fielder, who homered Friday for Triple-A Toledo, has appeared in 22 games for the Mud Hens and is batting .198 with a pair of homers and 11 RBIs. He …
